can i become reinfected with chlamydia with out having sex?

i was diagnosed with chlamydia a week ago and i took the antibiotic on monday (it is now wed.). I have been changing my underwear regularly, atleast once if not more a day but there is alot of discharge. Can this discharge reinfect me because it is coming in contact with my genitals?

I dont think so. You have taken the antibiotics, and that should kill the virus. But, if you have sex with the same person that infected you, you can get it back if they have not been treated.

The discharge cannot re-infect you.  This discharge is  a good sign that the medication is working.  

Note: Chlamydia is a bacteria, not a virus.  As picky as this may sound its important to distinguish.  

Your partner(s) should know that you were infected, and should be treated as well.

my partner was the one who informed me along with the fact that he had been cheating on me for 6 months and the only reason he came forth with this info is because i would have figured it out once i went to the doctor anyways.

I am sorry to hear this unfortunate situation.

Don't have unprotected sex with anyone for 1 or 2 weeks, neither should he  or his mistress.  Though she may seem like the bad person in this situation, nobody should be left untreated.  She should also be aware that he was positive for chalmydia and should be tested/treated as well.
