can i get some this wk...lol

i was diagnosed with chlamydia that i didn't contract from my current partner but my ex husband. i am taking doxycycline 200mg for a total of 7 days that was prescribed for the infection. Prior to receiving this news i had already finished a 3day therapy of the same med. My question is: is it safe to have protected sex with my current partner at the end of this wk since i am currently on the 3rd day of my treatment without worrying about reinfection?

I wouldn't because if the condom breaks, then your current partner could be infected.  Then you as well as a result.  But it is your choice.  Condoms offer great protection, but it is possible for them to break and become ineffective.  If it were me, I would just wait until treatment is finished.  Again, it is your choice.  Shoot... for me, making myself hold out makes it even better when i do get some.
