chlamydia exposure, chlamydia symptoms

if i were exposed via my mouth, would chlamydia show up in tests involving only my penis? in order from chlamydia to be passed to my female partner through my mouth, would i have to have symptoms in my mouth?

i have no symptoms, but i may have been exposed to chlamydia via my mouth with a one-time/former partner last year. i tested negative for chlamydia, but the test involved my penis, and my penis wasn't exposed.

my current partner, whom i believe has had no partners other than me for the last five years, tested positive. i feel like she either got it from me, or it resurfaced from an infection she had years ago.

i'm concerned that i have chlamydia bacteria undetected in my mouth, and i'm concerned that i might be infecting her with mouth-to-vagina contact even though i tested negative.

Go get a throat culture.  If you are negative, then she likely had a false positive.  It is possible to get false results, unfortunately.  It is not an exact science.
