chlamydia question

hello i i found out i had contracted chlamydia from an ex. he denied it of course. i was given a shot four white pills to be taken all at once and a 7 day course of doxycyline. all prescribed at the er. i had no symptoms whatsoever and finished all of my meds i still have no symptoms after finishing my meds.. i had unprotected sex 8 days later with my current bf. could i have transmitted chlamydia to him? after being treated.

if you were cured of chlamydia then no you wouldn't have transmitted it after the treatment but if youtwo had unprotected sex prior to the treatment he could be infected. Was he tested and treated as well? if not you're putting yourself at risk for a reinfection which could really hurt your body...

i never had unprotected sex prior to treatment i took all my meds and had sex 8 days later. not with the infected person my ex cause he didnt believe that he gave it to me which he did i was only with him in the last 60 days. my current bf i had sex unprotected 11/28 my last day of treatment was 11/20. i never had sex with the person who gave it to me again.

You should have no worries about transmitting chlamydia. Treatment works and it is said not to have sex for 7 days. You waited that time period.
