help?

i'm 15 years old. sunday morning i realized i had a sore throat i figured it was just from something i did and not a sickness. it didnt go away i went to the nurse and she said i would have strept, the coming of H1N1 flu, or my tonsils. I recently went to the doctor and got tested for strept and also the H1N1 the tests came back negitive. I ever since have had a super sore thraot and cant breathe very well through my throat it not to the straight back of my mouth in the back it is on the sides. my neck is swelling more and more and my body is reacting. what could it be if the PRIMARY doctor dosnt know? tonsils? HELP!

Why are you asking here in the chlamydia forum?  Chlamydia is an std and you have mentioned nothing about any sexual encounters.  If you are a virgin and do not have any kind of sexual contact, including oral, then you do not have chlamydia.

im a nrcma..not a doctor but a very common reason for a sore throat is drainage, and that you really cant get rid of, however you can treat allergies that contribute to it. However since you are on the chlamydia forum, i had it once before, i had gotten it from my boyfriend, ever time i gave him oral sex it made my throat hurt for a couple days afterways, not extreme just a dull annoying pain, so that may be another reason.
