how's the +% of getting HIV if chlamydia infected

I had protected sex with a sexworker, but incidentally during the course, the dom burst. After I realised I changed to a new dom and finished the trade. However I still got chlamydia infected. It was stated that some types of STDs would increase the chance of being infected by HIV. Chlamydia is one among them. I am so scared now but the window period is not over for a test. Does anyone know any correlation between chlamydia and HIV?

Having one infection makes you more likely to get another, but the odds are still really low.

Overall, most sex workers (and people in general) aren't infected in most countries, and its harder for a man to get HIV from a woman than the other way around.

I don't know that there are stats on chlamydia and HIV correlation.

I didn't think I was staying inside her with that broken dom for long. But just got non-gon then. There is literature saying that chlamydia is one of the stds which will increase the chance of getting HIV infected, but no research or actual figures.

What I am worry is, having exposed just a while with the broken dom, I got chlamydia. Would I also get HIV infected if that girl had? My friend told me that because chlamydia was much more highly infectious than HIV.

I just want to ask if you have seen people get chlamydia then HIV. I am waiting for the blood test report, extremely stress now. You know, I know I am asking stupid questions, but I am really nervous.

As best as I can remember, I've had one person who had chlamydia who also tested HIV+ at that time.

He was a gay male and had unprotected anal sex with someone who he found out after was HIV+.

In my experience, I've only also had one male patient who got HIV from a female partner.  There was some question about them sharing needles for drug use, but they both denied it.  I always thought they did, though.  

In my little corner of the world, I have had several hundreds of patients with chalmydia, and less than 50 with HIV.

hey i am also facing the same problem as you. i got chlamydia and took a rapid test after 4 weeks. it came out negative going to go for another one after 3 months. hopes is comes out negative.....
how is your results so far..?
