i dont understand

about 5 years ago i was tested positive for hpv and had displasia (sp). they removed the cells and all was fine with no reaccuring displasia (sp). since then i get tested yearly for all STDs. i have not tested positive for any other STD till this year. i have been with my husband for 2 1/2 years and this is the third time i have been tested with him. the previous two tests have come back negative, is it possible they were both false negatives or the chlamydia was dormant? he said he was tested (he thinks) 3 months after we got together (for his job) and everything came back negative. how likely is it that this is just a false positive? i would figure that with my history of the hpv i would have some symtoms (symptoms) show up and i have none. his theory is one of us had it before we got together and it's just now showing up.

i forgot to add that i am also pregnant. just reading through some of the other posts ya'll have said that pregnant women get more false positives????

Yes, its possible.  If you opt for a retest, then do it soon because chlamydia can affect the baby.

Your husband also needs to test.  Since you are pregnant, its vital.
