infected with chlamydia

by yulianadelgado, Mar 04, 2008 11:33PM
when i was 9wks pregnant i had a miscarriage, they also found out that i had chlamydia but they gave me some pills and i should be ok.my boyfriend had chlamydia too i didn't know that he hasn't been treated with that and i made him oral sex. so my question is:if i made oral sex to an infected person with chlamydia there is a chance i could be infected probably in my throath or it can only be infected by penetration.

There is a possibility, but oral chlamydia is rare.  I would call the doc and let him/her know what happened, and see what they want to do.

Personally, if it were me, I'd want to be treated anyway, but I'm guessing some docs wouldn't treat based on that.

And no sex with the bf until you have proof that he got treated.

I'm sorry about your miscarriage.
