medication doesnt seem to work

i've already posted a question regarding how i believe i got Chlamydia

I went and got treated - 2 tablets to take in one dose.
the symptoms have never really cleared up fully,having good days then bad days and that will be 3 weeks tomorrow since treatment.

should i go back and advise i am still suffering symptoms,why have the tablets not worked - my partner also got treatment at same time and we didnt have sex for over a week so unlikely that was the cause.

im really low with this now - doesnt seem to ever end....help

Yes you should return since you still have symptoms.

I've called up and got an appointment
it's for a weeks time :-(
I'm totally amazed the medication has not really wiped this out from my system
my partner was treated too and we resumed sex from over 7 days after treatment
is it possible I got it back from her?

the symptoms are not as severe as last time and I wonder if this may be in my mind or otherwise?
anyone got an idea's - similar experience?

I have seen symptoms take 2 weeks to go away. If anything you might have given it back to partner. But when you have your appointment you can test again. If symptoms get worse call back Dr and ask for an emergency appointment.

it was 3 weeks today I got treated so obv it's not working for me...
it's a horrible bacteria this - hopefully I never get it again once Im cured.
I'll settle for being cured first !!!!

so update on this saga
after 2 weeks from my 2nd treatment i had sex with my girlfriend
she also had a 2nd treatment at same time as me.

now after having sex on friday/sat my symptoms have returned!!!!!!!

I was cured before so for some bizarre reason she has passed it back to me,and likely the reason why I had to go back for a 2nd treatment to start with

what is going on there-is it possible she is immune to the medicine,as I WAS cured
now Im going to have to go back again and suffer this for more time :-(

Symptoms might not be chlamydia.

You and GF would need to retest. And probably after medication again...if you are positive you and her should retest 2-3 weeks after medication before you have sex again.

hey,i am having the same problems but i am not sleeping with anyone currently......................mine is not going away either,i have been on like 4 diff antibotics,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but it still keeps on coming back..............let me know wat u find out,,,,,,,,my drs are baffled by it...............
