possibilities!!!

Hello all,

i believe i recently contracted chlamydia. I had an unprotected encounter with a girl one month ago. I got tested 7 days after just to be safe before i noticed any symptoms. 10 days after exposure i began having symptoms like irritated tip of penis, a weird discharge sensation in my urethra and some possible clear discharge(very minimal if any).

I have sense talked to this girl and she believes she is clean but has not been tested and said she had unprotected sex six months ago with an old boyfriend who said he doesnt believe he had anything. This has made me doubt where i contracted it?

The other possibility is a girl 2 years ago who i know quite well. for the 2 years after her i had no symptoms and she said she tested negitive for everything while with the boyfriend before me.

these are my only two exposes. Both these girls have since been tested,waiting results! In the meantime im sick with worry about where i got it.

1) which is the most likely source? ( i know this is speculative)

2) if i had chlamydia for the past 2 years, would it not have cured itself before my recent test?

You tested 3 weeks ago and still no results?   You need to call that clinic!

You believe you have chlamydia, though your symptoms are not consistant with chlamydia.  Post again when you get your results.

sorry i wasnt clear. I tested positive for chlamydia.

I keep reading on here that chlamydia will clear itself even without treatment? are you saying thats wrong?

Gonorrhea can clear it's self without treatment, I have never heard of chlamydia clearing without treatment.

1) Recent girl, you did not get it 2 years ago

now im very confused...i thought chlamydia can spontaneously clear?

Dr. HHH and Dr. Hook have said most chlamydia will clear itself without treatment usually within the first year. Although it has been known to be carried for up to 4 years rarely?

Any ideas??

If I said, "chlamydia does not clear itself"  and Dr.hhh/hook both said chlamydia will clear;
I would believe them.
