recurrent chlamydia problem

ok so last year in october i tested positive for chlamydia after i got checked i had severe symptoms.i took the zithromax but 5 days into treatment i had sex again and got reinfected...needless to say ive been reinfeccted 7 times 5 of which i had sex too soon after treatment and 2 times because the treatmenmt didnt work. so far i have been attempted to be treated with zitrhromax and doxy. currently my doctor os trying a new route. one 250 mg of erythomycin every six hours for 14 days...is this even effective ive never heard of this version of treatment and im very worried right now of it no working. is tere a chance that this treatmentcan finally work  and ill be cured does anyone know why the last 2 treatments may have not worked? this infection is really bringing me down mentally an dphysically i just want it  to be over with

You want it to be over and done with...I understand that but you should have waited to have sex again. And should probably use condoms.

I can not comment on the course of treatment your Dr has put you on. He has the knowledge and medical degree...I do not. Follow up with your Dr if nothing improves.
