I hate it when doctor's say stuff like this and then don't explain anything.
Your results depend entirely on the lab, and how they report it back to the doctor. It will be faster if its email, slower if its mail. You can always call tomorrow and ask.
If he was negative before you dated, and hasn't been with anyone else, then this isn't chlamydia. There are other things this could be - bacterial vaginosis, yeast, etc - it doesn't have to be an std.
If he had it before you all got together, it would have shown up on the results from his prior testing.
thank you for answering...i just keep overthinking and wondering if he is just a carrier if the test for him still works and would even come out positive...

There is no way it wouldn't show on a test, unless he had a false negative. Have you talked to him about this? He should be re-tested. If you come back positive, he is going to need to test and treat, so he can just get a head
