i am worried sick, i had a one night stand unprotected over 8 days ago, i felt a few symptons such as clear watery like discharge, uncomfertable and frequent urination, the majority of the time very little comes out. my left testicle seemed to swell ever so sligtley but this has been fading in and out, i got tested 5 days after contact at a private clinic 4 both chlamydia and gonorrhea both came back negative two days later but these results are not so reliable as they have been done very soon after contact, i then went to see another public clinic today where he assessed my genitals and could see no problem. he then proceeded to take a blood test and swab for which he assesed the samples within 5 minuites and said he could see no form of infection present. I have contacted the girl and she insists that she is clear and has been tested, i have not been sexually active for a long time before this and have been tested and was clear. i now have to await the results. how reliable are these tests? any advice on keeping my mind of the subject while im waiting i am finding it very hard to sleep at night.

Testing 5 days later is a pretty good window time for gonorrhea and chlamydia.  Dr. HHH has said that testing at earliest is at 3 days and the test can detect them then.  But I see you went in again for a second around of tests.

Everything you said looks promising --just a matter of time now.
I guess just meditate on the fact that your going to be okay, and what's important in life.
