z-pack day before test

Took  one 1000mg dose of azithromycin  roughly 36 hours before a cervical swab for chlamydia.  Would that dose have already been able to show a negative  result on the test?  

I know the dose would wipe out the infection, but asking on the off chance that I had unknowingly infected my partner with anything before the antibiotics/test.

It is possible that the medication effected the test.
