But my ALT always 3x normal. The newer result my ALT 218. I was USG and doctor say slightly bread liver or fatty liver grde1. But why my ALT can be this high? Is it will elevating if i stress or overthinking ? because i started stress about my exposure with massager therapist whom gave me "happy ending handjob". I afraid if i could get communicable infection disease.

Hello,
Autoimmune hepatitis is mainly found in women. For confirming the diagnosis you can get liver antibody testing done. However, the diagnosis of autoimmune hepatitis always requires a liver biopsy.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hello,
In your case,SGPT levels are greater than SGOT. Alcohol is one of the most important offending agent for liver, but it typically causes a rise in SGOT which is more than SGPT (SGOT/SGPT ratio is more than 2).So in your case, alcohol is not the offending agent. Important causes for elevated SGPT are viral hepatitis B and C, fatty liver, certain hepatotoxic drugs, and autoimmune liver diseases.Pls get your self evaluated for these conditions from a gastroenterologist.
Fatty liver may cause no damage, but sometimes the excess fat leads to inflammation of the liver. An inflamed liver may become scarred and hardened over time. This condition, called cirrhosis, is serious and often leads to liver failure.

In addition to abstinence from alcohol, losing weight gradually and safely(losing no more than one or two pounds a week), lowering triglycerides through diet or medications, diabetes control and eating healthy diet will help.
