How are you? Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a group of inherited disorders that weaken connective tissues and presents with loose jointsm fragile and small blood vessels, abnormal scar formation and wound healing and stretchy skin that bruises easily. There has been studies that show EDS in patients with CFS and orthostatic intolerance (ref: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10518084 and http://www.ednf.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1245&Itemid=88888988). Since fatigue and sleep disturbanes are frequently associated, some patients with EDS are often diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, depression, or hypochondriasis prior to the diagnosis ( ref: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK1279/)
Hope this helps. Take care and best regards.
