connection with Eets

Could anyone tell me if CFS is related to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.

Hi,
As mentioned from the other post, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a group of inherited disorders and there has been some  studies that show EDS in patients with CFS and orthostatic intolerance.  The occurrence of these syndromes together  is said to be attributed to the abnormal connective tissue in dependent blood vessels of those with EDS, which permits veins to distend excessively in response to ordinary hydrostatic pressures- which in turn leads to increased venous pooling and  the symptoms. However, additional studies may need to be done also.
