sickness & Diahrea Then stomach cramps over a month at night &fatigue

My parter is a 22 year old male generally quite fit . About a month ago woke up in the middle of the night with severe sickness and diahrea this lasted a few days on the first night he passed out twice which he tends to do due to panicking due to a genuine fear of needles ( which he just assumed he would have )   , he went to the doctors and said he had severe food poisoning and would be ok in a few days .
He then had no more sickness or diahrea but did suffer with extreme fatigue , and not feeling himself with stomach cramps mainly at night and him being full of gas . I pursuaded him to go back to the doctors and had his bloods taken . These came back clear .
Now 3 weeks down the line he is still having severe fatigue no matter how much rest he has and tends to suffer with stomach cramps and nausea at night . He had also  tried to return to the gym ( he used to train a lot )  and eat much healthier as well as trying to get a lot of sleep but nothing seems to be working .
Has anyone got any ideas as I am now becoming more and more concerned . Thank you in advance

My father is ill with the same thing it sounds like. I hope for your partner's sake I'm wrong but he's still not recovered and he had a 3 week hospital stay 1 month rehabilitation dtay and every day physical therapists come to his home and my mom who just retired can never leave the house because he needs 24/7 care! He had - it's gone now- he still has the diarrhea, lethargy, depression, weakness, and fatigue that is the most disheartening thing that I have seen on a personal level. He isn't trying enough. He needs more inpatient care, of which my mothers insurance won't pay for, but to get that he has to code out - as in be partially dead as the way insurance does things is so *** backwards treating only the severely ill and notthe mildly affected so as to prevent a chronic disabling illness. Sorry for that I am getting too personal here.
GET TO THE HOSPITAL NOW. NO URGENT CARE NO DR. SMITH D.O. OR M.D.  MY FATHER HAD A RARE BACTERIAL DISEASE THAT CAUSED HIM ILLNESS AND AN URGENT CARE DOCTOR GAVE HIM ANTIBIOTICS For CYSTS HE GETS THAT ARE PAINFUL BUT TREATABLE. THE ANTIBIOTICS GAVE HIM COLITIS (basically) so the diarrhea got worse and the antibiotics gave the other oh so very resistant bacteria a playgroundd. The only thing that was keeping him alive was the flora and fauna of his fut and intestines and a Dr. Ignoring him about the diarrhea gave him something so much worse to fight than if he would have had it checked out like a symptom such as diarrhea should always be taken seriously-!  To kill the name I cannot recall with out looking it up BACTERIA The strongest known or approved antibiotic is used.  I am sorry but I cannot recall that either but I do know It costs 80.00 U. S. It is not covered by insurance either but it killed the main killer Bacteria. But he is a husk of a man who ate heartily and was never ever oneto lay about and do nothing. He had such low Fe (anemia) in his blood they said that they were going to have to defibrillate -123 shock because of low blood pressure so low he was about to die. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE HE DID!
