kidney failure

My 10 year old dalmation has a creatinine level of 18. He started puking last week and had no health issues prior to this. Is there anything I can do?

Hi. Can you let me know what the other blood test results were please? High creatinine is not in itself a diagnostic test of kidney failure. If he was throwing up last week, was this due to something he had eaten or come into contact with, such as toxic household or garden chemicals or pesticides, toxic plants or other poisons? Has your vet performed a urine test for protein leakage? Have they undertaken a blood pressure check? What do you feed your dog as a routine (including treats)?
