cAN A SCAR IN THE LUNG LOOK LIKE A TUMOR

A scar in the lungs can look like a tumor.  Also tumors/cancers can arise from within a scar.  The distinction between scar and tumor can often be made by a board-certified radiologist, especially by a chest radiologist, on the basis of CT scan findings and comparison with previous chest x-rays.
