coughing when lying down
Hi  I am a pretty healthy 44 year old woman,  when I lie down to go to bed at night.. I start on my back, sometimes its ok but  then I may start to get a little tickle in my throat and then I get a dry little cough and I know I have to turn on one of my sides, sometimes I turn on the correct side and it stops if not I try the other side.. its weird.. what could this possibly be ?

This sounds like:
1) postnasal drip either from your nose and/or sinuses; or
2) gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stomach contents coming up into your esophagus.
