removal of carbon deoxyden from blood

I have copd with lots of sweats that leave me looking as if I just took a cold shower.  I also am so tight in my chest that I can't cough anything up. However, I can feel the tupes are full and tight.  What can I do to loosing up the musus. I am just home from a 7 day stay in the hospital and am on oxyen full time. my blood gasses are 61 can I clean up that blood anyway?

Sweats are not a common symptom of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).  Your doctors should look for another cause, such as some type of chronic infection.

The best way to loosen and cough-up mucus is the use of bronchodilators such as Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder), Serevent® (salmeterol xinafoate) or Advair® (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol).  There are no mucus-thinning medicines of proven effectiveness.

I don't understand the last, "can I clean up that blood anyway?"
I suspect that the 61 is your carbon dioxide in your blood (pC02).  If this is true, the above advice is also the best way to address that.  The clearing out of mucus could address your elevated carbon dioxide (CO2).
