Bloating & Gas Problem

Is is possible that emphysema can cause MAJOR bloating when walking or exerting myself in other ways, if the answer is yes what can be done about it as it causes major pressure on my diaphram which in turn causes harder breathing.
If bloating is not caused from emphysema is it possible it may be caused by diverticulitus as through all my tests this is the only other diagnosis that shows up.
Please note a problem I have had for some time is that my system will not tolerate most medications or alternative medicines as they cause me to bloat and gives me major burning in pit area of my stomach, if you have any suggestions what might be causing this or what can be done so my sytem can better accept medications I would really appreciate your suggestions.
