I am 44 and i am an Ex smoke, smoked for 10 yrs and have stopped now since 4 yrs . When My PFT was done in 2011, My Lung capacity was 60 before bronchodialtor and 62 post that . I was asked my Pulmo to do a CT scan and Xray of my lungs and all came normal .
I repeated my PFT on 2015 , the lung capacity was 69 before bronchodialator and 72 Post . I was told that I had astma and was on an inhaler .
Today again I went for the PFT , The lung capacity improved to 72 before bronchodialator and 74 post it . Pulmo said that I may have a very mild COPD and it is good to start on a new inhaler which is released for COPD which would stop any progression .
I have no breathlessness and I excercise and not overweight . I do have sleep apnea and on CPAP .
I dont know what type of COPD I may have .
