LUNG X-RAY NEED HELP

Dear Sir,
Can you share your comments on the below. I am a 57year old, male smoker. I have checked my Lungs X-Ray and the doctor has given me these results.
Calcific plague like opacity is seen in mid zone
and lower zone, blunting of left costophrenic angle is seen with
lamellar opacity and the left lateral cheat wall. The Impression"
left pleural effusion/thickening with calcified left pleural plagues.
Can you suggest me anything by just reading the above ??
I have also been previously told that i have COPD, Emphysema and most recently a doctor told me that i may have Tuberculosis. I want to make sure that i get my condition checked. Can you please tell me what are the best test's i should conduct to check for TUBERCULOSIS.
Any info on what you think on the above would really help.

I am a landscaper & wk out of doors & w/chemicals alot. Could these things affect my lung condition negatively. I also live in Louisiana & we have high humidity. I am a hard worker & the older I get the more severe my lung problems are. As a child I had the flu & pneumonia 1 time each.
Do u think my working has aggrivated my weak lungs? If so, what alternatives do I have?
