Lump on Tonsil

Hi, a few years ago i got tonsillitis really bad that they got to the size of golf balls i was meant to get them removed but i got pregant and was able to do it. Ever since then i have had holes in both of my tonsils and they havent really cause me any trouble up until a couple of days ago i started getting a bad cough and noticed that on one of my tonsils where the hole used to be is a lump of some sort it looks like a bluster or pimple. I was just wondering if i should get it checked out by a doctor or if you think it will go away in time?

This ‘lump – blister – pimple’ will almost certainly go away within 3 to 7 days.  That is assuming it is probably an infectious process.  But if it worsens in appearance, size or pain before then, you should definitely have it examined.
