I was just in the hospital and the ct scan says that I have emphysema in right and left lungs on top of lungs.  What does this mean.  My oxegyn level was 54 so they kept me for 2 days until they got it up to 89.  Lots of antivirals and antibiotics and breathing treatments.  What information is ther on this

You obviously had an infection because that is what they were treating you for. You might also have emphysema. You should go to a lung specialist to find out what this is all about. And don't forget to bring him your hospital records. He needs that history.
