Your peak flow meter number is too low for you. the most possible is that you have got asthma, please be careful on the asthma, you should use the peak flow meter in the morning and evening, 2 times a day. and you should discuss this with your physician
i've seen a respirologist and have had a pulmanary function test, which showed i have a low lung capacity. This was a while ago though.
Have you been given any other tests to diagnose asthma other then the peak flow?
No definetly not. i am allergic to cigerate smoke.
Are you or were you a smoker at any time?
No, I was even put on prednisone and that only mildly improved my symptoms. I was in the ER a few days ago and thankfully the Doctor there reffered me to a respirologist.
Neither one of your peak flow readings are normal for a young man. It surely sounds as though you have asthma. Doesn't Benadryl work? It should.
