about test results

i had a PFT test done today Dec.20,2013 and the dr who took it said my results are FVC Pre-Test is 1.67 ,Post-Test is 1.17 , Then my FEV 1 Pre-Test is 0.90 ,Post-Test is 0.79 then mine Var .Coeff % for FVC is 32.1 then for FEV 1 is 45.1.My hemoglobin is 13.5g/100ml.  i am a 42 yrs old women white weight is about 165 pounds.I just would like to know if you can figure out the range for these test for me.Last week Dec.12 i end up in the hosp for a sharp,stabbing,elephant sitting feeling on my chest without cough chest pain on my left lung .If you have any ideas where I can look for anymore infor please let me know.i am new to this site.Thank you

Hi there are a lot of medical options to help you. You probably already search the Net for more info.  On thing I found helpful is breathing techniques, Even with any meds it does help.

Hi, the report states that the airways are not responsive to bronchodilators, means there will be no improvement with bronchodilators. The normal spirometry values are FVC-80-120% and FEV-80-120%.  The hemoglobin level is normal. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance. Regards.
