coughing 6 weeks takes my breath away

i've had the cough for about 6 weeks now only a cough I have't had any other symtoms (symptoms). when I cough half the time I cant breath after I cough  like my throat is blocked or closed. If Im sleeping and I cough its every time and at times I have to sit up to try and breath. its only a cough its had for me to take the time to go to the doctor. do you know what it might be?

A chronic cough needs to be evaluated by a dr as there are many possible causes:  allergies, post nasal drip, asthma, acid reflux as well as some other much less desirable causes.

Get this checked out before much more time passes.

you need to get ur broncuil opened up..sounds like asthma...go to ur docs get a albuterol inhaler it makes this all good..yoiu will see
