help he is cant sleep and sreams all night

hi my son is 4 years old and keeps coughing day and night and has had a really bad fever on wesdursday sean then he has had the cough for 4days and the fever keeps caming and going

Id give him some hot water with some lemon juice and honey in it. Fevers are our defense mechanism and therefore our friend. Your son didn't get the virus/bacteria out of his system as the fever came back. I would recomend not giving him anything to reduce the fever and allow his body to do the job of heating itself up high enough to make his body uninhabitable for viruses and bacteria to survive. What has the Dr said? How high is his temperature? What kind of cough is it, dry, barking coughing up mucus etc? If he is coughing up mucus what colour is it?

You can leave a low grade fever unmedicated but never leave a very high temperature untreated. I wouldnt let a temperature go above 102 as seizures are far more likely and at 104 I'd be sitting in the emergency room.
