less oxigen by travel in the air

Always when I travel more then 5 hours with a plane, leter one I get a bad cough, colored sputum, (green brown yellow) and tree to four days later a pneumonia, keeps me at least 10 days in the Hospital with a lot of Antibiotika. What can I to against or how I can bring extra O² in my Handluggage into the plan.

I would check with your airline to see if supplemental oxygen is available. I am not sure where you are from, but I know that in the states, some of the airlines allow portable oxygen concentrators on board with a doctor's prescription. Others provide their own oxygen tanks but at an extra cost. About 5 years ago, I traveled to Las Vegas, it is a 7 hour trip from NY, with supplemental oxygen. My doctor had to make out a form saying that I was physically able to travel and that I needed supplemental oxygen at 4 L/pm, all of which she had to detail. This had to be done at least a week in advance, that way they could provide enough oxygen tanks for me.
I would definitely also talk to your doctor as he or she will be coordinating oxygen during your next flight, he will also determine if you are fit enough to travel.
I know there have probably been some changes since I have last traveled with O2, but the gist of my message is to check with the airline you wish to travel with as well as with your doctor. Customer service will then be able to guide you as far as clearance from your doctor and other necessary documents that you might need.

Good luck
Jenn
