Good Question - I am 68 and wondering the same thing!!!
thanks hopefully someone will answer- I still smoke about 4 a day I know I need to quit but.................................

I think you could probably have a full life expectancy. Don't know what stage COPD you have or how long you have lived with you COPD, but having good health and being 81, there is a good chance something else will get you before your COPD and that you could live a long time.
