lung blebs

I have been diagnosed with several blebs. I have been experiencing these attacks where my right side of my chest goes into stabbing spasms, so painful I cannot hardly breathe. The attacks are starting to happen more frequently and last from three to five hours, leaving me exausted and achy in the chest area? I have been prescribed previcid and xanax. Do you think this pain is related to the lung blebs?
