non small cell lung cancer

Hi sadly, my mom was just diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer ontop of her already extremely severe COPD. Surgery is not an option for her bc of her COPD. And I would feel so much better knowing what to expect for the future and even tho i know you cant give a real time line of event with out knowing her. I would just like your opinion on what to expect..(ie) How long this will go on..what her chances of beating this is. etc etc...I am aat a loss as to how to feel or what to do....PLEASE HELP!! My mom is everything to me and the only parent I have left. So I know the coming times are going to be the hardest of my life..Thanks in advance for your help and support!
