can larngomalasia leads to chronic lung disease
Avatar_f_tn
Hello,
I tried to find this condition but the nearest I can find is "Laryngomalacia". If you Google this you will be able to read what Wilkpedia says about it.
If it is this condition it appears to heal itself in babies by the time they are two. If it does continue it may need surgery, but this is usually successful.
It can also affect an older person as they age and the tissue becomes soft, but again it can be rectified by surgery.
There doesn't appear to be a link to COPD from what I have been able to read. I hope this helps.
Shielah.
