Headaches, Fatigue, etc....

Headaches (all day long), Dizziness, Fatigue, Insomnia (anxiety) , Tingling (face, hands, & feet), Sleep Apnea, Rapid Heartbeat

About a year and a half ago I started getting these symptoms……

Last May I had UPPP and Septoplasty done for my sleep apnea....b/c a lot of these syndromes are caused by not having sleep.  After the surgery…I continued having these symptoms…my ENT recommended me to go see a Neurologist…..all my test came back fine.

In the past, I have been a substance abuser and this was caused these symptoms.

Does anybody have any input on what this might be?

Many of the symptoms you describe are typical symptoms of stress;  I would challenge a comment suggesting that substance abuse is 'caused by the symptoms'.  Many people will make similar comments about abuse or addiction of substances, claiming the use was a form of 'self medication'.  But in reality, substance abuse is far more likely to make the symptoms worse than make them better, so it is hard to accept that abusing substance was made 'necessary' by the symptoms.  I have had many patients in that tough 'middle zone' where they are afraid to leave the substance because of symptoms like insomnia or anxiety, but it is clear that they will never get better until after the substances are gone.  I don't know the cause of your symptoms, but for pretty much anything the best place to start is with plently of fresh air, relaxation techniques, a healthy diet... using medication in low doses for breakthrough symptoms.
