chronic pelvic pain

My 14 year old daughter has had pelvic pain for the past 11 months, when it started we all thought it was her appendix, all the signs were there except her lab work was normal, she spent months with the pain on the right side and then it moved to her left side, she has seen 3 surgeon's, 2 gi dr's, and 2 gyno dr's.  She has had abdomen and pelvic cat scan, 2 abdomen and pelvic ultrasounds, a colonoscopy and an upper endoscopy.  The only thing ever seen was some free fluid in her pelvis and some cysts on her left ovary when the pain was on her right side.  does anyone hjave any ideas?

The only relationship to her menstral cycle is that sometimes the pain can get worse about 2 weeks before she starts.  There is no relationship to her bowels, it doesn't make it worse or better.  Nothing has ever been said about checking for kidney stones, however she has had a ct, an xray and a couple of us of her abdomen and pelvic. When the Dr. pushes on her pelvic area they can find tender spots.

Is there any relationship to her periods or menstrual cycle?  Any relationship to bowel function-- e.g. worse with diarrhea or constipation?  Has she been checked for kidney stones-- straining her urine, for example?  When she has the pain, can it be 'palpated' on exam-- i.e. can the examiner push and find the tender spot?  These are some of the questions that would be important to finding the cause.
