Complex Cyst

I had an US 6 months ago and the final report stated.. A cyst right lobe of liver with some small areas of indentation.  No measurements were given.  I went to MR and picked up a cd and on cd was the drs measurements.  The cyst was 2.3 x 2.1 x 2.1  

Going in for another ultrasound on Monday to see if the cyst is growing or stable.   Hoping everything else is also.  

Anyone have any dealings with a complex cyst with internal septation?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

A cyst is a fluid filled cavity. Complex cysts can occur due to infections/inflammations. It can sometimes be due to tumors. Based on the follow up scan results, if needed your doctor may advise biopsy. A biopsy facilitates a histologic study of cells, which gives you a definite diagnosis. Good Luck.
