Thank you, yes she is a real inspiration to others. She has a blog that helps people with all kinds of subjects, cirrhosis, advises on diet and cancer. She gives of herself so freely, it is amazing to me.
Ihelpc is the name of her blog if you are interested, she has a sample of a diet as well as places to eat, i.e. fast food, etc:)
Thank you again, Deee

Sending White Light, good juju and prayers her way!!!
Hello there! Thank you so much, Karen is doing well. She has been able to take some walks sit up in a chair and is feeling better.
I appreciate every ones good wishes and prayers and I know that Karen will be so grateful when she can read the responses.
I had no idea what a liver transplant could be like. I am hoping that Karen will share her story. You are so right, thank God for the liver donors and their families. Giving Karen a second chance at life is such a miraculous gift.
I know that she has a lot more to give to help others.
Hey there, surgery finished about 3 or 4,PM yesterday, long day. Well actually two days as she had reported the day before and the liver could not be used so they found another one yesterday.
I heard that she is in ICU and the surgeon said all went well.
Thanks you guys for prayers. I am sure Karen will have a really good story to tell after she recovers :) She is such an excellent writer.
I am helping with her blog, did not realize how many people she has helped.
Wishing you the best Karen!!!!! A new life awaits you

First report from operating room, ahead of schedule, going well.
Thank you

Thank you guys so much!
I just heard from Karen's husband. The surgery just started.
She had mentioned that there was some concern over the size of the liver. Since Karen is such a tiny thing, maybe it was too big. I don't know.
Her husband said that they had just found a liver and the surgery was starting.
I am praying for her, her family, the surgeon, the donor and the donors family. What a generous gift to give while in the middle of mourning your loved one.
Thank you again, you guys. I will update asap.
Dee
Sending Karen good thoughts for a new life and we are all very grateful to the donor and his/her family for making a transplant possible
Hoping Karen's new start works very well!
Best wishes to Karen.
Hoping she gets her second chance at a healthy life soon.
Hector
Sending well wishes and positive thoughts for a speedy, uneventful recovery.
So happy she has been given a 2nd chance at life. Of course, we must also be grateful that a donor was willing to give the gift of life.
Warm Wishes
