scared so much.. what to do?

My spouse is 45 and on one of those checkup Has been diagnosed with fatty lever-grade 2,also the gall bladder contains a 19mm stone, (non alcoholic). His triglycerides  also are at 356.Doctor has advised  to undergo surgery and get the gall bladder  removed, though i still am going to take a second  opinion. I need to understand how dangerous is his situation. Can we reverse his lever condition. Is removal of his gall bladder the only solution. yes he is overweight has fat deposit on his belly. Will making any lifestyle modifications improve his health. Plz put a rest to my chaotic  mind.

So sorry your spouse is going thru this.  I agree with almostsixty that you should get a 2nd opinion as well.  There are many stages of liver disease and if I'm understanding your post grade 2 is reversible with diet and exercise.
Gall Bladder surgery on the other hand can be a major surgery and should not be undertaken unless its necessary.  You may be able to find a Dr that can treat this condition with a strict diet reducing fatty foods.
They do have less invasive techniques for the gall bladder besides surgery.
I would be sure to investigate these other options before moving forward.
Please let us know what has happened thus far
Best to you
.....Kim.

I am 60 and have cirrhosis, fatty liver, and several gall stones. I successfully treated hep c. You don't say if your husband is suffering with any symptoms from gall stones. My doctor is not doing anything with my gall bladder unless the stones begin to cause me pain. You should get a second opinion and husband should be careful to not eat fatty foods. I am sure you will hear from other members.
