3 respiratory problems since beginning of year

Hi.  My problems started a few months ago when I got flu-like symptoms severe chest pains.  My family doctor could only squeeze me in at the end of the day.  My appointment lasted literally about 5 minutes and she diagnosed me with    a muscle spasm.  She did not seem concerned with my respiratory symptoms.  The pain did subside and the respiratory seemed to clear up on its own, but I never felt like I could breath very good and had a hard time exerting any type of energy.  I assumed it was because I have gained weight.  A few weeks ago I wake up feeling like I got hit by a truck. Nausea and chest pain. No cough.  I went to an urgent clinic and the doctor said I was wheezing and had sinusitis and bronchitis. Gave me an antibiotic and oral steroid.  I did begin to feel better after about 5 days, but again, chest continued to feel heavy. I assumed with bronchitis it could take awhile.  Now, about 4 days after my last prescritption doses, I get knocked on my butt again. This time my sinuses are severely blocked, chest pain, and now I have developed a pflegmy (sp) cough. I have also had low grade fevers (about 100-101) the last 3 nights.  It usually comes on early evenings.
I wanted to give it a few more days before going back to the clinic.  I do not have insurance but I'm worried that the doctors are missing something trying to keep my costs down.  Should I be worried about anything?

Yes, Bronchitis usually results from a viral infection, so antibiotics aren't effective. However, your doctor might prescribe an antibiotic if he or she suspects that you have a bacterial infection. Bronchitis can lead to pneumonia but that is USUALLY with people that have many bouts with it. It will usually last about 2-3 weeks because your lungs are full of mucus. You will just need to keep an eye on it and if you feel like its not getting better after week two OR if it starts to get worse then go see your doctor again.
