Dayquil and Robitussin

I started feeling congested last Friday. My family finally convinced me to go to the doctor and yesterday I tried my best to. However, I have severe anxiety and going to the doctor isn't my cup of tea. I don't mind the shots and stuff, it's just the wait. After filling out all of the paperwork and sitting for a while, I fled like the building was on fire. Today I bought Dayquil and Robitussin. I am not really coughing but my head is stopped up to the point it feels like will explode. I have a lot of nasal congestion. I can blow my nose every 5 minutes and have results. I feel loopy, all though I think that is from my anxiety. I haven't had a fever, just been real nervous.

Just getting over the same issue myself.  Mine started with a cough in my chest that was like a smokers cough (really wet and gargled).  By the time I went to the Dr, I was messed up.  Told it was a sinus infection and bronchitis and was given a Z-pack (antibiotics) and that was 4 days ago and I feel great right now.
Go to your Dr.  you don't want this to turn in to pneumonia, and the pain will get to the point where your face will start to swell.  (mine did my right eye looked like Id been punched).
Remember, not knowing does not mean it will go away, and :white coat anxiety" or anxiety when seeing a Dr. is common, but should never be a reason to place your health in jeopardy.
Also, use something like Mucinex D. (the stuff you have to get behind the counter).  This will help with the cough and the congestion, but GO TO THE DR.
be well, hope this helps.
