Decongestant side effects.

I have severe allergies to the point that I have to take a decongestant regularly.  Over trhe past few years I've developed some problems and just now am thinking they may be linked to my constant use of decongestants.  Chest pain, headache, cold/numb feet and hands, stinging/pins & needles in both feet,  pounding heart, anxiety, irratability, fever and several others but those are the worse.  I always thought it was just me feeling bad and that I ahd some kind of rare disease that doctors coudl not find.

Just by chance I quit taking my decongestant...kinda forgot about it because my allergies seemd to let up a little and I remember about 6 months ago realizing that most of these symptoms had disappeared but I did not connect that to decongestant use.  Two weeks ago I came down with a bad head cold and all the problems that go along with that so the first thing I reached for was dayquil and nyquil.  The first few days were uneventful but then Inoticed about a week ago that all those old problems were returning.  The constant chest pain, pounding heart, cold/stinging feet...etc.

By chance has anyone else experienced problems like this associated with decongestant use?

Do you get a fast heart rate? I have SVT which causes me a fast heart rate at times and I'm told to avoid decongestants. I'm not saying decongestants have caused my SVT but could maybe be a trigger. Maybe there's a connection there? Side effects can be different for everyone. So I would definitely go see an expert (a doctor) if these decongestants are causing you these problems. You don't want anything to get worse.
