Do I have a fever?

I normally have a body temperature of around 97.5. I know this from checking it at home as well as the doctor's office. The past 2 days I've had a temperature between 99-100 and I have symptoms of a cold. Normally a fever is considered 100.4, but since my temperature is normally more than a degree lower,  would I technically have a fever? Also, it did drop off once,  went back down in the 97s, but then went back up again.

Hi F...I'm no doctor but my temp runs inline with yours. I think that even if you run sub normal because it's a bit higher you should just keep an eye on it being the flu season is hard at work now. Do you have a cough, chest congestion, chills. If so, watch the congestion it can go into Bronchitis real fast. Take some immune boosting tea, vit c, zinc, grape seed extract.  If it worsens dr.s and a script for Z-pak should help
Feel better soon
