Does Lack of Sleep & Mild Alcohol Consumption Cause Ear, Nose and Throat Pain?

For the last few years I have been hyper susceptible to sore throats, deep ear pain and swollen glands.  I noticed it happens for about 24-48 hours after a night when I get less sleep or have a few drinks (2-4 drinks).  I can understand getting ill after a night of binge drinking or an all nighter, but if I have a few drinks or get less than 7 hours of sleep, I get these symptoms.

It has me curious if there are other reasons why I deal with this weakened immune system.  Or if there are other things I can do with my diet or lifestyle to prevent these illnesses or pains.
