I JUST CAN'T FIGURE THIS OUT. I CAUGHT A REG. HEAD COLD 1 MONTH AGO. SINUS CONGESTION, PHLEGM, RUNNY/STUFFY NOSE, SORE THROAT. AFTER TWO WEEKS THE HEAD CONGESTION BEGAN TO GO AWAY, EXCEPT FOR A POST NASAL DRIP WHICH IRRITATED MY THROAT AND MADE ME COUGH. NOW I HAVE JUST STARTED TO HAVE A SORE SWOLLEN TONGUE.AFTER TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY MY TONGUE WAS SO SORE , I FOUND THAT THERE WERE TWO PEA SIZED BUMPS UNDER MY TONGUE, ONE ON EACH SIDE. THIS CANT BE A REG, COLD PLUS, I HAVE NEVER HAD A COLD THAT LASTED MORE THAN FOUR DAYS. I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAD OR HEARD OF ANYONE WHO HAS ANY SUCH SYMPTOMS? IS THIS SOME SUPER BUG?JUST FYI I DO NOT HAVE TONSILS
BY THE WAY I FORGOT TO MENTION, I GOOGLED TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE TWO BUMPS UNDER MY TONGUE. IT TURNS OUT THERE ARE SALIVA GLANDS UNDER THERE AND THEY CAN GET CLOGGED. I FOLLOWED THE SUGGESTIONS OF A FEW PEOPLE WHO HAD IT HAPPENED TO THEM AND THANK GOODNESS IT WORKED, THEY ARE GONE NOW, NO MORE PAIN. YAY
