Evening Fever

My child is two and half year old. She is having cough for last one week. She is showing a sign of evening fever going to around 101 F. After giving one dose of ibrufen she gets the fever in the next evening. It is continuing for the last three days. What could be the reasons and treatment? Does it indicate some kind of fever?

yes, she's having a fever since the temperature is over 100.4 F

that's not necessarily serious, it depends on how unusual she's behaving

is she eating/drinking ok?

it could be a cold, but if she's getting worse, it can be something more serious

Merry Christmas!
