Extremely Achy

Extremely Achy

I am a healthy 24 year old female. Wednesday I had to leave work because I started feeling extremely achy and for lack of a better phrase like the energy was drained from within seconds. I had a slight headache, and was hot, but with no fever, but that's it. I stayed home from work Thursday with the same symptoms. I slept, and when I woke up I felt a lot better. Today I'm achy again and just feel drained. I know what the flu feels like so I know of course it's not that, and I'm sure I haven;t had the common cold in years. Why am I so achy and in pain?

It still might be start of the flu. Maybe it hasn't hit full blown because your body is fighting it and thats good.... I would try to rest as much as you can and drink plenty of fluids because its better to lie around for 2 days or so in order to help your body kick it out before it really takes hold, then 2 keep pushing yourself and then you wind up in bed for a week. I was almost over it and resumed normal activities too soon and now I am paying the price. I feel alot better today, but I am not taking any chance, I am not going to push myself until after the weekend.

I hope you feel better.

I just also had this achyness and went to a doc and they told me I had a cold. Told me to start taking benadryl and sleeping it off. I had a fever with this as well. Now 4 days later its all breaking up and I can tell it was a cold. I am all stuffy with a cold now. The worsed aches I have ever had. The doc. told me the flu and colds are mutating. The colds are like flus.
