Foul smell in mouth after mild fever and cold

Im 15 years of age. A couple of weeks ago i began suffering a fever and cold. During that time i lost total sense of smell and taste. However, just today i realised that my sense of smell partially came back, and i immediately began to smell a foul odour. I recognised this smell immediately because i had experienced the same thing early last year. If i can recall, the reason i had it was because of a fungal infection. My tongue went green due to growth of fungus and the smell was even more horrible. However, this time i think its because of a different reason and i cannot see any fungus on my tongue but i can smell that horrible scent. I will consult my GP very soon, but i was wondering if anybody could tell me what this is.

ive been real sick myself/ and i have this really bad smell in my head too sometimes its like you can even taste it, i smell the worst when i hold my head down or move it around, and i have no idea where its coming from, i think my head. i have never had this before and it scares me cause i get dizzy and i feel like i may pass out sometimes. if you find out anything let me know.
